Might we see some mental changes in Maggie, as she starts to like being in Lana's body, like perhaps finding herself attracted to Cole, or to just generally act like her?

Well, Jennifer Adams, the creator of the Medallion of Zulo, has said that it doesn't cause mental changes, so she's still the same Maggie.
DeleteAnyway, the point of this story is that she has a bigger plan, and becoming Lana is only a mean to achieve it.
