Six Cheers for the Shift!

I should have posted a new multichoice story by now, but my time has been quite limited. I should also say that I lost a lot of enthusiasm following the apathetic response towards my Reader’s Entries idea. It’s not just I haven’t received a single submission, but couldn’t you guys at least leave some comments? I’ve said it many times, I can’t keep up with the blog alone. I simply don’t have the time to post regularly.

Anyway, I’ll do what I can, but it would be great if some of you stepped up to the challenge and helped keep this updated more regularly. I’m sure once some people start posting, more will join.
So, as I didn’t feel like continuing one of my uncompleted stories today, I thought of this idea this morning and quickly put it together, since I finally had a bit of time.

It’s my first Great Shift story, which I’ve avoided because I find body swaps boring as opposed to actual physical metamorphosis. But I thought it would help with diversity. That also means there are a couple kinds of transformations, which I don’t usually do. If you don’t like them, it doesn’t mean that they’ll become a regular thing. The Shift is supposed to represent many kinds of swaps, so this story needed those things.

  2. Ok,since no one's volunteered to help out and this stuff is the best you can do under your swamped schedule, tell you what: If you can be patient until the end of the month, I'll see if I can send you some photostories I've written. Mine focus on female AP/height growth and I think you'll find them quite good.

  3. Well, this is superb!
Thank you for this attempt at The Great Shift, I have to say I really enjoyed it. I hope you'll consider doing more in future.
Thanks you for all your work.

    1. Thanks! I won't discard the idea, even though Body Swap is not my favorite genre.

    2. The thing that lacks a body swap is the actual metamorphosis..the idea itself its not bad...if there was a body swap where both girls actually transform physically into one another seeing the changes in their bodies it would be so much better

    3. You might have read "Using the Medallion", where I did exactly that. That's why I like the Medallion of Zulo best for bodyswaps. But what I love about the Great Shift is the global scale.

  4. Excellent work as always. The Great Shift has never been my favorite topic, as it often centers around TG situations, which are not my cup of tea. But your take on it was refreshing a very good.

I'm sorry about the apathetic response to your reader's entries idea. For my sake, I simply don't have the time nor the resources to produce the high quality content you do. Though I may write something if I get free time eventually and figure out how to set these up graphically. I'm not ruling it out, but I doubt I'll be able to contribute regularly. I have written one caption before, but it got quickly deleted after a threat of fair use came in on the site I was using.

I greatly await your multi choice series whenever it comes. I have been speculating on what the topic of a nearly 40 part multi choice could be, but I honestly have no clue. Any hints would be greatly appreciated!

    1. Thanks. I don't like TG either, but I thought I had to put ONE in this story. If the whole world got Shifted, I had to include one such situation, just as the AR and the AP. But you know I keep that to minimum, and that will always be the case.

About not knowing how to make the captions, don't worry. I forgot to explain that if that's the case, you could simply mail me both the story and the image of your choice and I'll proceed to put them together for you. So, if that helps, I think you could send something. I understand the time problem, of course, since that's the same thing that happens to me.

The multichoice will come, but I decided to follow your advise and keep posting smaller things while working on the big one on the side. So I'll post it when it's ready, trying not to neglet the rest of the stories. I'm not sure what kind of hint I can make without spoiling things, but there's two kind of paths involved, one that's determined by something you can't change, and then a true choice you can make out of free will.

  5. Will we be seeing any of the loads of requests filled anytime soon?

  6. Man...I wish I'd said something earlier.
You're a lot better at this than you realize, man.
Seriously, that paragraph before the pics was really sobering to read.
I just want to take this opportunity to say...thank you for your work.
I wish I was a decent writer for this, but believe me, nothing I submit could ever be up to the standards you've created for this site.
Please, if anyone other than Planet is reading this, please help him out.

    1. Thanks, this kind of thing helps a lot.

I'm afraid when I write that kind of thing, I sound like a whiny person. That's not my intention. It's just that I'd love to offer you updates daily and it's frustrating that I can't.

I understand some of you might feel you can't write anything good, but that's how I felt when I started this (and I still do). But believe me, there's always SOMEONE who will enjoy your work. So dare to do something, as I did!

    1. Yeah, the Super Bowl is in two weeks. Today was the games that determined the participants.
It's like the whole World Cup condensed into a single game of American-style football, complete with media frenzy, minus the FIFA corruption (though the NFL is no saint either).
I'm no fan of the sport, but I respect it and how popular it is, just like I do with cricket in the UK and soccer everywhere else in the world. Let's just leave it at that, okay?
